Applicants seeking funding from the State Revolving Fund Program must be placed on the funding portion of either the Clean Water State Revolving Fund or Drinking Water State Revolving Fund priority list at a public meeting. The first public meeting of the fiscal year (which runs from July to June) for both programs is held on the second Wednesday of August where that fiscal year's priority lists of funded projects are adopted.
The Drinking Water and Clean Water Program Manuals provide all of the necessary forms (Request for Inclusion, Loan Application, Disbursement Request, etc.), example documents (adopting resolutions, planning document, etc.), and checklists (procurement, planning requirements, etc.) needed to navigate through the SRF process.
The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program provides low-interest loans to eligible entities for planning, designing and constructing public water facilities under Chapter 62-552, F.A.C. The department receives requests for funding throughout the year. The information is used to establish the project priority list for the following annual cycle.
